The creation of the “Ennejma Ezzahra” label dates back to 1995, when the first title “Tarab: a tribute of Ennejma Ezzahra to Ali Sriti”, a live non commercial recording was released. It was the Centre for Arab and Mediterranean Music’s first musical production.

Releasing of audio recordings oriented towards the preservation of the heritage and the promotion of contemporary musical creation in Tunisia,  is one of the missions of the CAMM.

The creation of this label was in response to the need to fill a large gap in the publishing of audio recordings in Tunisia.  The aim of the  Ennejama Ezzahra label is to be a quality label that not only meets the needs of the public at large, but that will also become a reference label in the classical and traditional repertoires. However, it is not intended that the label should restrict itself to this domain.  On the contrary, it seeks to reflect the diversity and the richness of musical expressions in Tunisia across the board.

The CAMM’s catalogue now includes eight  recordings.
